Contenders spanning 19 countries have been shortlisted for 14 categories for this year's PIEoneer Awards, to be held in London on September 7.

Markus Badde, CEO of ICEF, on the "unexpected honour" of winning the Outstanding contribution to the industry award in last year's PIEoneer Awards 2017. 

Know One, Teach One has been announced as The PIE Partnership's charity partner for the upcoming PIEoneer awards, to be held in September 2018.

The inaugural PIEoneer Awards from The PIE team will celebrate the individuals and organisations that are reaching new heights in the global education field. Sara Custer provides a synopsis of the shortlisted entries.

Hundreds of entries were received and pared down to just three to four for each of the 12 categories which include Marketing Campaign of the Year, International Alumni of the Year and Digital Innovation of the Year.

The PIE News team has launched The PIEoneer Awards to honour achievements and unique contributions to the international education sector. The awards ceremony will be in London in September.
