Currently the platform offers one million beds in 15,000 verified properties in more than 210 international cities

The company’s management system “seamlessly connects residents and the internal team” via a mobile application and a desktop solution.

“There has been a continuously increasing demand from the Indian sub-continent as well as Singapore and Malaysia”

Following a soft launch with select student housing operators, University Living is now gearing up for a full-fledged launch of its product across the world.

“We understand that there is no time better than the present, especially now when housing operators are focusing on streamlining their internal processes,” the company said.

The customised subscription-based product offers an “innovative and comprehensive property and inventory management solution” to partners, it added.

As well as aiming to benefit providers, the product will enable residents to communicate with each other and the management team, in addition to providing payments, complaints, booking and visitor invite solutions.

Currently the platform offers one million beds in 15,000 verified properties in more than 210 international cities across markets including the UK, the US, Europe and New Zealand.

University Living has recently shifted its focus to the Indian subcontinent, where it has added cities such as Lucknow, Delhi and Bangalore to its existing portfolio.

“There has been a continuously increasing demand from the Indian sub-continent as well as Singapore and Malaysia, markets that we are looking to further expand in,” a spokesperson for the company noted.

“Currently we have modern boutique operators and small- to mid-sized student housing operators (with a bed count of around 500 to 2,500) using the product to streamline managing their property,” they said, adding that PBSAs and HMOs in both the Asia-Pacific region and Europe have shown interest.

“Since our inception, we have been a B2C managed marketplace, with a student-first approach in everything that we do. With the launch of our SaaS product, we have begun tapping our B2B base, giving us the flexibility to cater to our existing as well as new accommodation partners,” they added.

“We offer a comprehensive enterprise resource planning SaaS product to provide customised solutions for our partners in the student housing industry since we do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Also, our product can also prove beneficial in the HMO sector, so they can better manage their properties, accounting activities, and marketing under one roof —anywhere, anytime and on any device.”
