Independent language school network, Quality English, held its latest mission in Dubai last week, enabling members – who represent schools from around the world – to hold business meetings and network with education agencies in the region.

Quality English runs mission to Dubai
Ali Amel and Solaleh Zekrollahi of GTA Global Training Association in Iran meet a QE member Twenty education agency representatives from 13 companies attended the one-day focused event, and Quality English (QE) director, Carolyn Blackmore, said good business was done, with prospects for long-term relationships forged. “The secret of success is that QE attracts agents that really want to meet quality independent schools,” she said.
After a short presentation and Q&A session also fitted into the day, the group of educators and agencies went for dinner at the Mango Tree at Souk Al Bahar under the towering Burj Khalifa – the tallest building in the world. “We ate outside on the balcony at this Dubai ‘hub’ beside the Dubai Mall. Every few minutes the fountains gave a dramatic dance display to music which captivated us all,” regaled Blackmore.
Quality English then took part in the ICEF Dubai workshop with a stand in a prominent position. The village consisted of Frances King School of English; Atlantic Language Galway; Millfield Holday courses; Sydney English Academy; Vancouver English Centre: LILA; Cork English College; London School of English was also attending.
