Oxford International Education Group has been selected as a partner by the University of Kent to help boost international recruitment, as well as enhance global reputation through the establishment of UK IC.

To do so, OIEG said it will support the institution’s global engagement strategy, informing it with a deep understanding of the varied needs of students and helping deliver a seamless recruitment experience which puts quality first.

“We believe that our services can build upon and enhance the University’s reputation and international success,” added Bremermann-Richard.

David Pilsbury, chief development officer at OIEG told The PIE of his delight of partnering with the university that ranks within the top 25% of global institutions and offers award-winning student support.

“This exciting collaboration introduces a dedicated international college in the heart of the University’s Canterbury campus, fostering a thriving community while also being less than an hour away from London,” he continued.

“Furthermore, it grants access to cutting-edge teaching facilities and a wide array of on-campus student housing options.”

Bremermann-Richard said the OIEG approach is focused on student outcomes, going above and beyond to support students throughout their studies and ensuring the transition to university is “seamless”.

“With our international expertise and the University’s world class education offering, we can together transform lives and unlock opportunities” she continued.

Students at newly launched UK IC can choose one of two undergraduate pathways, or one postgraduate pathway and these pathways lead to a wide choice of degrees at University of Kent.

It is hoped that by partnering with OIEG, the institution will be able to recruit a larger and more varied pool of international students supporting the University’s 2025 Strategy, focused on promoting Equality, Diversity and Inclusivity.

Pilsbury said that the partnership will also contribute to the university’s leadership position in Internationalisation at Home activities, “for the benefit of all students and other stakeholders”.

The new collaboration marks OIEG’s seventh embedded pathway partnership in the UK.
