CLCI in Cork, Ireland rebrands

Cork Language Centre International (CLCI) in Cork, Ireland is rebranding as the Active Centre of English Training (ACET). After 37 years of operation, the name change has been decided upon to express the core philosophy of the company, explained Odile Migieu, Managing Director at the school.

“Our industry is rapidly changing and it is important to evolve and adapt to provide the best experience for our clients,” she said. “In line with our re-branding, we are expanding our range of courses and products during the first part of the year. Our partners will be informed of the developments on a continued basis. Ownership, management and staff remain the same.”

ACET – as it will be known – was established in 1975 by Migieu. The school, which is an IALC member, aims to provide English language training “to a level above international standards in a positive and inclusive client-centred environment”, said Driscoll, and to offer client support services to the highest level to allow clients to enjoy and improve their English.

ACET welcomes approximately 2,000 to the southern Irish city of Cork each year, from over 35 countries.
