Date:

Time:
4:00 pm - 5:30 pm

In a world torn by war and injustice, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed and even hopeless.  Yet, the work of practitioners, researchers, students and policymakers are needed now more than ever in regard to intercultural and global competence and it’s in these crucial efforts that we can find hope to continue building a more peaceful world together.  To that end, it is important we continue efforts that focus on our shared humanity, that we look at ways to address systemic injustices and discrimination, and that we continue to learn from and with each other in these efforts.

The World Council community is a dedicated and special space where we can come together to learn from different perspectives and from the amazing expertise and experiences from those gathered here from all over the world. Let’s tap into the wisdom of this community:

  • What are some ideas you have about ways to focus on our shared humanity?
  • What can be done to resist dehumanizing “the other?”
  • What are some further questions that we as a World Council community can delve into more deeply together as we do what we each can to build a better world?

Join us in World Council’s Workplace to continue discussions on these and other questions – as well as to connect with each other at our upcoming Global Meet Up on 27 November.  See you there!
