The Universities Australia Higher Education Conference is the peak body’s annual signature event and attracts around 900 delegates from the most senior decision making levels of our universities. The 8th annual conference is to be held 9–11 March 2016 in Canberra with a focus on universities and their communities —both local and global.
Why participate in this conference?
- The higher education sector is a significant part of the economy, spending $24 billion annually, with over $1.7 billion in export earnings. It is also one of the few sectors which is expanding and supports burgeoning infrastructure development and services industries which are forecast to grow exponentially in the foreseeable future.
- Australian universities have 1.3 million students enrolled and employ over 122,000 staff. There are 240 campuses located around Australia and offshore.
- All Australian university vice -chancellors, chancellors, senior university decision makers and senior managerial staff support this conference as chairs, speakers and delegates.
