In 2014, the ICEF North America Workshop will be held in Vancouver. Here, educators from Canada and the US will meet hundreds of educational agents, vetted by ICEF’s rigorous screening process. Among other requirements, agents must provide several references from current North American educator partners, and disclose the number of students they have successfully placed in North America in the last year. This ensures that only active, relevant agencies are accepted to the event.

The majority of international students rely on education agents to help them pick and apply to institutions abroad. As a result, agents have become a necessary recruitment method for increasing numbers of Canadian and US educators.
