Southeast Asian nations such as Vietnam, Indonesia and Thailand continue to rise in their importance as student recruitment markets. Due to this demand, ICEF is pleased to launch the Bangkok Workshop in 2014. This event is set to attract over 300 participants including 100+ education providers and approximately 150 agents from Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and other Asian countries.

This workshop will provide a unique opportunity to meet with the most professional and productive agents from the region, all vetted via ICEF’s rigorous screening process. Agents must provide references from current partners, and disclose the number of students successfully enrolled. This ensures only active and relevant agencies attend the event.

Thailand and its ASEAN neighbours are currently preparing for the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC), due to take shape in 2015. The AEC will present significant partnership and recruitment opportunities to education providers within the region and beyond. With English as the working language of the AEC, many ASEAN countries are working to improve the English proficiency of their students and teachers.
