Event Navigation
NZIEC2012 is New Zealand’s $2.7 billion international education industry’s pre-eminent gathering.
It will be the first industry conference since the Government gave the industry a set of challenging growth targets, including doubling earnings by 2025.
This year’s conference is seen an opportunity for the industry to stop and consider what this means for the industry and to produce concrete ideas about how it can work together to achieve the targets.

- Jazreel Goh, British Council East Asia Regional Director (Education Services)
- Ian Taylor, CEO, Animation Research Ltd/Virtual Eye
- Charles Finny, Chairman, Education New Zealand
- Grant McPherson, CEO, Edcation New Zealand.
Tertiary Education, Skills and Employment Minister Steven Joyce will speak at the conference’s dinner on Thursday (Nov 1) evening.
Conference workshop topics include:
- China
- Indonesia
- Marketing
- Social media.
New Zealand’s international education institutions, businesses and organisations will also be strongly represented at the conference
