Why Taiwan?

  • The number of Taiwanese students abroad in 2015 has more than doubled in comparison to 2014 (60,839 students). Some of the reasons for this can be associated with the families’ investment in destination countries and the search for specific degree subjects with higher quality in abroad institutions (i.e. medical science or art).
  • In 2015, almost half of the public institutions announced their intents to raise tuition fees by between 1.5% and 3.5%, provoking student protests in the country. The need for increase is coming as a result from the Taiwanese government’s plan to reduce subsidy funding for universities by 15%. This is a premise for an even further increase in the number of students going abroad to seek better higher education prospects.

Join us to gain deeper insights of these vital markets while building lasting partnerships with top recruiters who can really communicate your courses to students in their language.
