• Peru is thriving with 3.01% growth, according to latest October 2015 data – a precondition for parents sending their children to study abroad.
• Peru’s National Programme for Scholarships and Education Loans – PRONABEC provides a range of funding opportunities, including the “President of the Republic” scholarship for masters and PhDs in various disciplines that give students access to universities in 52 countries.
• Unemployment is particularly high among the 14-24 age group – 13.2% in 2015. The government funding opportunities are a premise for an increasing number of students going abroad to improve their job prospects.
