UK uni specialist SI-UK plans to open 12-15 new offices around the world over the next 12 months, with a grand total of 120 offices expected by 2025.

Student recruitment organisation SI-UK has announced it will open new offices in five countries across Asia, the Middle East and South America.

While South American agencies think Brexit could boost UK-bound business because of the cheaper pound, a major Indian agent has signalled safety concerns impacting the market and in the EU, restricting access to loan funding is the big issue.

SI-UK is planning to open a new office in Turkey and Nigeria and become one of the top education agencies in Thailand, following a good first year of operations in the country. It is building links in the UK with a federation of boarding schools.

Its growth plans follow an investment into the company that helped achieve a 25% rise in student applications year on year.
