The total revenue earned by UK universities amounted to £27.9 billion in 2011-12 with international revenues amounting to nearly £5.7 billion, accounting for over 20% of all university income, according to a new Universities UK (UUK) report unveiled today at “The contribution of UK universities to national and local economic growth” conference.
