The Netherlands ambassador to Nigeria Robert Petri has called for young Nigerians to consider studying abroad and to take advantage of affordable English language-taught courses in Dutch universities and colleges.
This week, Dutch Minister for Education, Culture and Science Jet Bussemaker presented the first awards for the Netherlands’s new national scholarship programme this week during a breakfast at Schiphol Airport.
The Dutch government has committed financial support for development of a game that will give international students a head-start on learning the Dutch language and Dutch culture before they arrive in the Netherlands. In its early stages of development the game is set to be rolled out in 2015 by non-profit organisation Nuffic.
