UK-China relations boost at BOSSA agents fair

Representatives from China's largest agencies' association met with UK educational establishments at a series of events organised by UK Work Study (UKWS) in partnership with Beijing Overseas Study Service Association this week. The event was the first of its kind for Chinese agents in the UK.

China to hold first inbound mobility conference

China's position as a study destination will be solidified in October, when more than 200 Chinese and Western institutions convene at the country's first ever conference promoting in-bound mobility. China wants to increase international enrolments from 250,000 to 500,000 by 2020—a number the Beijing Overseas Study Service Association (BOSSA) says is easily reachable.

The most recent China International Education Exhibition Tour staged in various cities in China attracted tens of thousands of Chinese students interested in studying abroad, and was a great platform for BOSSA, the Beijing-based agency association.

China edges towards first agent association

BOSSA, China’s largest association for small study abroad agencies, has launched the COSSA alliance, which it hopes will become the first ever national agency association in China. Vice president Xuewen E said national coordination was needed as smaller agencies faced growing competition from bigger agency chains and new regulation.
