International Association of Language Centres (IALC) held its 31st workshop and AGM earlier this month in Brisbane. It was the first time the event has been held in Australia and was hosted by Langports English Language College.  In attendance were 106 language centres from 21 different countries and 90 agencies from 38 countries, including a few new member schools and agencies that attended the workshop for the first time. Delegates were able to meet with each other in scheduled meetings over three days, attend seminars on industry debates, and experience Australian culture at a number of the social events.
