The International Association of Language Centres has signed a partnership with technology provider Edvisor to help streamline data sharing between schools and agents.
The Edvisor platform will help IALC’s 140 centres worldwide to keep agents updated with their products, prices and promotions. Agents will also be able to quickly generate quotes for potential students.
Nicolas Miller, CEO at Edvisor, a tech company based in Vancouver, Canada, welcomed the partnership.
“The partnership will make international education more accessible to students everywhere”
“[The partnership will] further our shared vision to streamline collaboration and make international education more accessible to students everywhere.”
Vice president of marketing at IALC, Robin Adams, also hopes efficiency at the business will improve and simplify the booking process.
“IALC has explored a number of different technical solutions that can be easily implemented by agents globally… we believe [Edvisor] to be the best B2B booking platform at this time. We look forward to making the platform available on the IALC.org site.”
According to IALC, current solutions to make quote creation easier, rely on manual third-party data input and are only available to agencies.
Schools will have more control over their brand than before with the new partnership due to the real-time connections between both parties that the platform provides.
Giorgia Biccelli, president of IALC, said she expects the partnership to boost business opportunites.
“This cooperation sets IALC at the forefront of innovation in the language travel industry. Edvisor’s cutting edge technology applied to B2B online services will be of great benefit to IALC members and agents, increasing synergies and business opportunities”
IALC announced a partnership with Japanese agency association, JAOS, to assist Japanese nationals to communicate with visitors earlier this month.
