Recruitment efforts during the European Association of Quality Agencies‘s first two years have paid off with the addition of nine new members from agencies across Western, Central and Eastern Europe.

Education agencies from Ireland, the Netherlands, the UK, Malta, Denmark, Macedonia, Ukraine and the Czech Republic have joined, bringing the organisation’s total membership to 12 since launching in 2011.

“Welcoming new members from Western and Eastern Europe gives the association even more credit, reputation and respect,” Stefan Kolibar association secretary told The PIE News.

“We’re already in talks with some market leaders from various countries which could stimulate interest in other agencies”

“We would like to keep up the great work. We’re already in talks with market leaders from various countries which could certainly stimulate interest in other agencies as well,” he said.

The newest members include Eurostudy International, Go Study Link, Gulfstream, Eruditus, Kontext, Ready For You, Study Globe, Ireland Student Consulting Group, and London Study Guide.

Kolibar says EAQA has set its sights to expand membership to 20 or 30 agencies by the end of the year. He added that the organisation will focus on providing more and better member benefits as well as delivering on the services they already promised current members.

The association was founded with the mission to be the mouthpiece for European agencies in policy and industry issues. Membership benefits include being privy to market intelligence and being able to display the EAQA seal of quality.

Agencies can sign up as full or associate members usually on an annual basis but Kolibar confirmed the association is flexible on accepting the agencies throughout the year.
