Students often choose Alpha School Malta because they are looking for a more personalised and meaningful learning experience. As a boutique school, we focus on creating a warm, supportive environment where students feel part of a community rather than simply attending classes.
Many students are also attracted by our innovative learning spaces and experiential approach to education. Our school includes dedicated learning zones such as our executive suite for professionals, early learning centre for families, green resource room for sustainability workshops and wellbeing activities, roof garden, and social spaces, all designed to encourage creativity, collaboration, and communication.
What makes Alpha School Malta different from other schools or destinations?
One of the biggest differences is our strong commitment to sustainability and education for positive impact. Alpha School was the first Green Standard certified English language school in Malta, and sustainability is not simply a marketing concept for us – it is integrated into daily school life and many aspects of the student experience.
Students regularly participate in workshops and activities linked to environmental awareness, wellbeing, intercultural understanding, outdoor learning, and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). These experiences help students practise English in engaging, real-world contexts while also developing global awareness and soft skills.
We also complement classroom learning with experiential workshops, cultural activities, and offsite training sessions linked to sustainability, outdoor education, wellbeing, and intercultural learning.
One of the features that makes Alpha School Malta particularly unique is our dedicated early learning centre, created specifically for younger learners and families.
We welcome children from the age of 2 and have developed a colourful and imaginative learning environment that combines language learning with creativity, wellbeing, communication, and play. Dedicated spaces such as our PlaySchool, Kiddie Courtyard, Kids Club, and Little Picassos Corridor have been carefully designed to provide bright, safe, and inspiring environments where children can learn, explore, create, and interact with confidence.
This integrated family learning concept allows parents and children to study within the same school community while enjoying a warm, supportive, and engaging atmosphere tailored to different ages and needs.
How important is cost when students choose Alpha School Malta?
Cost is naturally important for many students and families, but increasingly students are looking for value rather than simply the cheapest option.
Students choosing Alpha School Malta are often looking for quality, personalised support, meaningful experiences, and a school environment that aligns with their values. Many appreciate our smaller class atmosphere, individual attention, modern facilities, sustainability initiatives, and strong student support services.
How does the experience compare with students’ expectations?
Many students arrive expecting to improve their English, but they often leave with much more than language development.
Students frequently comment on the sense of community within the school, the friendliness of staff and teachers, and the variety of experiences available beyond the classroom. They particularly enjoy the mix of academic learning, cultural exchange, wellbeing activities, sustainability projects, workshops, excursions, and international friendships.

Families appreciate having dedicated spaces and programmes for children and adults within the same school environment, while professional and Erasmus+ participants often value the more specialised and focused learning atmosphere within our executive centre.
Would you recommend Alpha School Malta to international students? Why?

Alongside improving their English, students become part of an international learning community that values sustainability, creativity, innovation, wellbeing, and real-world communication. Our students benefit from modern paper-lite classrooms, interactive digital learning environments, experiential workshops, and a variety of dedicated learning zones designed to make learning more engaging and meaningful.
