Twin Training International, the International arm of education and career training organisation Twin Group, has announced a joint venture with language school Chapterhouse in Dublin. The school will initially operate as Twin Chapterhouse Dublin.
In 2017 Chapterhouse was part-acquired by City Colleges Group, which has developed a portfolio of education brands in Ireland including City Colleges, the College of Progressive Education and Ashfield College.
“We are very proud of our school and its reputation for academic rigour and quality teaching”
Twin CEO Caroline Fox explained: “We’ve had our eye on the ELT market in Dublin for some time, but we wanted to find a partner with proven experience and a good track record to ensure we can deliver the quality experience Twin students have come to expect.
“Chapterhouse Dublin is a great fit and we are looking forward to working together to develop a world-class program for English language students.”
Fox added that Chapterhouse, like Twin, has been grown and run by its owners who have many years of English education experience.
Jonathan Duignan, founder and managing director of Chapterhouse, also welcomed the new venture.
“We are very proud of our school and its reputation for academic rigour and quality teaching,” he said.
“A joint venture with the Twin group offers an exciting opportunity to further develop our programmes for students learning English to advance their careers.
“Since 2014, Chapterhouse has delivered specialised training for aviation, legal, IT, and sales and marketing professionals as well as general English,” he said.
“Twin are experts in the work experience and work skills learning models, and as such offer a perfect complement to our business. We look forward to expanding our offering and sharing this with our combined agent base.”
“The City Colleges Group adds an extra dimension to Chapterhouse,” added Fox.
“Its positioning in higher education means we can create innovative market-facing offerings which our competitors will struggle to compete with.”
Earlier in 2018 Twin announced it was launching a new pathway program that includes a BTEC Level 3 National Diploma in Business.
