StudyPortals and AACSB International have announced a new partnership to promote awareness among students about the value of pursuing a business degree from AACSB-accredited institutions worldwide.
The organisations will work together to help students who wish to enrol in an undergraduate, masters, or doctoral business program to make informed choices based on international standards that are established and upheld by nearly 800 institutions globally.
AACSB Accreditation currently provides a framework of 15 international standards against which business schools around the globe assess the quality of their educational services.
These standards ensure continuous improvement and focus on what schools need to do to deliver on their mission, innovate, and drive impact.
“Our research shows that clarity around accreditation is an issue for our student users”
Reportedly, 96% of chief executives in the Financial Times “From MBA to CEO” interactive report attended an AACSB-accredited school.
By communicating the benefits of attending an AACSB-accredited business program, the collaborators are aiming to help students find the business school and degree program to fit their needs.
CEO of StudyPortals Edwin van de Rest said combining efforts with AACSB will bring them a step closer to making study choice transparent.
“We are extremely happy to be combining efforts with AACSB. Our research shows that clarity around accreditation is an issue for our student users,” van de Rest said.
Executive vice president and chief officer of AACSB’s Europe, Middle East and Africa headquarters Tim Mescon added that making an informed decision on where to pursue a business degree is a choice that prospective students should approach with much research and thought.
“As the largest global connector of students, academia, and business, it only makes sense for AACSB and StudyPortals to work alongside each other, providing valuable resources and knowledge on business programs and accreditation worldwide,” he said.
Collectively, through the StudyPortals study search platform and AACSB’s website, students can search for and find comprehensive information about admission requirements, tuition, fees, elements involving international education and the accreditation status of the world’s most notable global business school programs.
