International education provider Study Group has announced a new North American partnership with US public research institution Florida Atlantic University.

The provider has been selected as the university’s “trusted partner of choice” to recruit international students to programs across the board, capitalising on Study Group’s current partnerships with 50 universities globally.

Florida Atlantic University, which is based in Boca Raton, is said to share Study Group’s “strategic focus on developing students’ professional skills”.

“Study Group’s international marketing, student recruitment and admissions expertise will support Florida Atlantic University to achieve its international student recruitment goals,” said Emma Lancaster, CEO of Study Group.

“[The partnership] also benefits the whole university community, providing the opportunity for local students to learn from their global peers in a highly connected world,” Lancaster added.

Florida Atlantic has previously been described by US News and World Report as “an energetic and fast-growing institution”, which is supported by its 30,000 students across undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

The university also offers almost 5,000 internship placements to support graduate employability at global companies – including Google and Apple.

“We look forward to welcoming international students from across the world to our beautiful campus where they can expect an excellent education and welcoming student community,” Senior Associate Provost of Florida Atlantic University Russ Ivy said.

Study Group adds the partnership to its impressive roster, as well as its innovative programs and digital education expertise, including its Insendi digital learning platform.

The university has doubled its research expenditures in recent years, “outpacing its peers” in student achievement rates.

It is also designated a Hispanic-serving institution.

“Florida Atlantic University – with strong investment in sought after science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) programs – is expected to become a popular choice for international students planning to study in the US,” Lancaster explained.
