Quality English has announced its boutique agent workshops will return in 2022, with the first events scheduled in Italy and Spain this March.
The membership organisation, which has been running e-Missions during the pandemic, says it is meeting a demand among schools eager to meet agent partners in-person and visit markets themselves.
The two in-person events are slated for March 15 in Madrid and March 17 in Rome. The next e-Mission will take place February 10, with several more planned for the rest of the year.
“We’ve been running our e-Missions (online agent workshops) since before the pandemic started and they have been a very popular and effective way for our schools to maintain and build relationships with agents from all over the world,” Jonathan Swindell, chief executive of Quality English & Quality Education, told The PIE. Quality English also ran a number of events in 2020, including a Brazil agent workshop in February.
“However, as travel restrictions ease, our schools are eager to meet up with agents face-to-face again and visit the markets themselves,” Swindell noted, adding Quality English will continue its regular e-Missions.
These events in Madrid and Rome will bring education professionals from schools, colleges and agency sectors together in order to collaborate and explore market opportunities. Despite being relatively small, boutique-sized events, they are “a highly-effective way for… schools to build lasting relationships with high-quality agents”.

“Spain and Italy have always been important markets for many of our schools,” Swindell explained.
“Spanish and Italian students particularly enjoy the high-quality service, tuition, support, as well as the individual focus that QE and QED schools offer, and the agents we work with in Spain and Italy appreciate this.”
Quality English has hosted over 100 agent workshops in 30 countries around the world, reaching its 100 event milestone in 2018.
