Over the past 25 years, Malvern International has transformed from a single language school – Malvern House London – into a significant player in the international education sector, with a diverse portfolio that includes English Language Teaching, university pathways, and junior summer programs.

In 2025, Malvern International will be further expanding its offering by introducing two new juniors’ programs.

Global Futures, located at Oundle School, is a new leadership program aiming to empower young leaders and innovators to shape their futures.

Meanwhile, a new summer program, Innovate Summer Academy, will be hosted at University College London and is set to provide a unique blend of rigorous academics and immersive experiences, including expert-led workshops, hands-on learning and continuous mentoring, with a subject-based faculty approach.

“Our 25th anniversary is not just a celebration of our past achievements but a testament to our commitment to future growth,” said Richard Mace, CEO of Malvern International.

“We have built a solid foundation, and with the continued support of our students, partners, and dedicated team, we look forward to expanding our reach and impact in the global education sector.”

In recent years, Malvern International has capitalised on the growing demand for international education, particularly in the UK, where it manages one of the largest university pathway programs in partnership with the University of East London.

To mark 25 years, Malvern International held a celebration for its partners in London.

Speaking at the event, Ashleigh Veres, head of student recruitment at Malvern International, said she has “never been so confident” that the organisation, along with its partners, can “roll with the changes” happening across the sector, as she thanked them for their collaboration along the years.

“We couldn’t have got to where we are now without you,” Veres assured partners.

Veres noted that in 25 years, Malvern has successfully supported students from over 100 countries on their English language journey.

Meanwhile, Stephen Harvey, chief development officer at Malvern International, said the milestone “speaks volumes” about the company’s journey of innovation, commitment, transformation and growth.

Some 25 years ago, Malvern embarked on a mission to “empower students with the skills, knowledge and experience they need to survive in a rapidly changing world,” said Harvey. It’s a mission that has been made possible by the “unwavering support” of partners, he added.

“Going forward, we plan to build on this success,” said Harvey.

At the core of what we do, the fundamentals haven’t changed – great academic programs, activities, excursions for the students and great people

Matt Hird, Malvern International

Matt Hird, director of sales at Malvern International reflected on the “massive changes” the sector has gone through since its inception 25 years ago. With changes in technology, communications, travel, international education has boomed, said Hird.

“At the core of what we do, the fundamentals haven’t changed – great academic programs, activities, excursions for the students and great people.”
