Ideal Education Group (IEG), leading Spanish language provider and parent company to Enforex Spanish language schools this week acquired Malaga Si increasing its locations to 35 schools in 11 countries.

Located on the sea-side the Instituto Cervantes accredited school has 18 classrooms and a private swimming pool. Speaking with The PIE News, Antonio Anadón, director of IEG, confirmed that all staff will remain the same but the school will be rebranded as Enforex Malaga Si.

“For many years Enforex has wanted a school in Malaga because it’s the only place that was missing from our group”

“The schools is the second most important school in the city in terms of number of students, reputation and quality,” said Anadón.

“For many years Enforex has wanted a school in Malaga because it’s the only place that was missing from our group but we wanted one with prestige and with a name associated with the location”.

Anadón added that the school, founded in 1999, has historically worked directly with students but under the Enforex brand it will position itself in the agency market.

“We’re gong to be able to open the school up to more agencies because our most important market is working with agents.”

Enforex also signed a 10-year contract to operate a sport/language summer camp at Colegio Miguel de Unamumo using for juniors and high school students using its model of mixing Spanish youth with foreign students.

IEG also incorporates Spanish language school brands Don Quijote, eduSpain, Enfocamp, and Mexican brand Solexico.

Last year it expanded its presence in Latin America by buying Academia Columbus with branches in Playa del Carmen in Mexico; Quito in Ecuador and in Santo Domingo de Heredia in Costa Rica.
