Langports English Language College in Brisbane/Gold Coast in Australia has opened a dedicated exam testing centre for its students – recognising the growing demand for English language testing and also to reflect its newfound status as a testing centre for Cambridge ESOL examinations.

In time, Langports English Exams Centre (LEEC), which is based in Surfers Paradise, will offer a full suite of English exams, in paper-based or computer-based format, including Pearson, Cambridge ESOL, TOEFL/TOEIC and others. Its aim is to be a “one-stop-shop” for all English proficiency examinations, catering to the needs of any international student needing a certificate or statement of English ability.

“Providing students with the best exam experience, with the highest standards of quality and service to all exam candidates is our main objective,” explained Anna France, Marketing Director at the school, which is also celebrating its nomination by student ratings site, Educationstars, as the best school in Australia.

Last week, an official opening ceremony was held at LEEC, presided over by Murray Davis, Director of International Education and Training for Trade & Investment Queensland and John France, CEO & Founder of Langports English Language College.

France said the new centre – which will cater to any international student –  was his “grandchild” and he was very excited to see Adam Wright and Renae Wilson (pictured) grow the centre and develop it into something very special.
