Keele and Navitas to open pathway college in 2022

The UK's Keele University has partnered with educational service provider Navitas to offer international students a new pathway to university education.

Keele University in the UK has announced a partnership with educational service provider Navitas to offer international students a new pathway to university education.

The Keele University International College will be set up on the campus in Keele, delivering foundation, undergraduate first-year, and pre-masters levels and pre-sessional English programs.

The first students will start in September 2022.

“I am delighted that this new partnership with Navitas will allow us to further enhance our offering to international students, who form a crucial part of the Keele community,” vice-chancellor of Keele University, Trevor McMillan, said.

Not only will Navitas’ expertise and experience in international recruitment be an asset to us, but their ambitions and values are closely aligned with our own, particularly their commitment to providing a high-quality student experience.”

The Navitas-run courses will be approved by Keele, and be aligned with the university’s curriculum, the partners added.

Navitas runs a range of university pathway programs across Australasia, Europe, North America and Asia, including at Birmingham City University, University of Portsmouth and Swansea University, among others in the UK.

Most recently, the global education provider signed a partnership with University Academy 92 in the UK to operate its international recruitment arm. It also announced a similar long-term strategic partnership with Canada’s Ryerson University in 2020.
