ICEF has announced its plans to hold workshops in Ukraine and South Africa showing a commitment to growing student recruitment markets in developing countries.
This month ICEF announced its intention to hold events in Kiev and Cape Town in order to expand its efforts in these regions and reach out to new partners.
ICEF Ukraine Focus will be a two-day event on March 19-20 next year. The workshop will provide an opportunity to connect international educators and service providers with the highest quality Ukrainian student recruiters.
The event will be followed on March 23 with the ICEF Moscow Workshop and later the ICEF Central Asia Focus on March 27.
“Our clients have told us clearly that they wish to expand their efforts in Ukraine and Africa”
Ukraine has seen a recent increase in outbound students as a result of political instability in the country, students’ desire to seek more opportunities abroad, and their dedication to learning foreign languages.
The most popular destinations among Ukrainian students are the US, the UK, Poland, Germany, and Canada.
Additionally, ICEF has announced a three-day Africa Workshop in Cape Town to be held May 15-17 next year. South Africa has historically been a key study destination in Africa, but the event will assemble international recruitment agents from around the continent to promote outbound student mobility alongside showcasing the country as a favoured destination.
“Our clients have told us clearly that they wish to expand their efforts in Ukraine and Africa, so we are delighted to take ICEF to Kiev and Cape Town,” ICEF CEO Marcus Badde said.
“The support from agents in the area has been overwhelming, and I am extremely confident that both events will be productive for all attendees.”
