Hotcourses Australia, a comparison website that uses a comprehensive database of courses in Australia, has launched a study exchange search for domestic students keen on having an international experience.
There are over 36,000 eligible courses offering exchange to over 2,000 partner institutions
Young people hoping to study abroad will be able to search for degree courses that incorporate overseas study exchange opportunities. There are over 36,000 eligible courses offering exchange to over 2,000 partner institutions around the world.
Jessica Brewster, Hotcourses Product Manager, said the search facility has been lunched partly in response to an increasing demand for exchange opportunities among Australian students.
“With a travel-focused generation of Australians entering tertiary education, there was a need for a resource that encourages students to take overseas study into account when making their study choices,” she said.
Founded in the UK in 1996, Hotcourses opened in Australia in 2008. Its web products are used by over 30 million prospective students each year, to find information on courses in 11 countries including the UK, USA, Singapore and Sweden.
The search function roll out in Australia is the latest development in the company after co-founder and CEO Mike Elms revealed earlier this month that the publisher could be sold to a digital specialist investment buyer, which will fuel further expansion plans.
