“Spanish in Spain” or “Español en España” reads the new branding unveiled by Spanish language school association, FEDELE, this week alongside a website redesign.

The new logo aims to line the association up with other country representative bodies in the study travel sector while the website overhaul will allow the group to promote schools as well as agent partners.

“We wanted to stress in some way what we are dedicated to: learning Spanish in Spain,” Ana Cózar, director of FEDELE told The PIE News. “But also to align ourselves with other associations in the sector so it’s easier to understand who we are.”

“We wanted to stress in some way what we are dedicated to: learning Spanish in Spain”

The association launched its agent partner scheme in January 2015, but hasn’t been able to start the project until the website had a searchable function on the site.

Cózar expects FEDELE will be able to start processing applications for the scheme, of which there are about 10 already, in the coming weeks.

Agency applicants will need to complete an online introductory course on FEDELE schools before they can be listed on the site.

When students search for schools in Spain they will be prompted to get in touch with the partner agency in their country.

“It’s a question of marketing and promotion and to improve the experience of the website for the four user profiles that it serves,” said Cózar, adding that information for students, agents, schools and teachers, will be streamlined to fit each users’ needs.

“We wanted to create a section for DELE students who needed to sign up for the exam, and also another with information that a teacher might need in how to train to become DELE certified.”
