Language teaching chain Eurocentres has moved its London school to new premises in the grounds of Eltham Palace, the childhood home of King Henry VIII. The new teaching centre will feature state-of-the-art classrooms within 25 minutes of central London.
Its former centre in nearby Lee Green will close but prices will remain at the same level at the new location in 2013. Switzerland-based Eurocentres has a long history in language teaching and opened its Lee Green centre in 1977, billed as the first school purposely designed for language learning.

A spokesperson for Eurocentres said that the new centre could accommodate up to 240 students. While there will be no on-site accommodation, host families in the local area and hall of residence 15 minutes away will offer accommodation.
