Edtech companies take centre stage at London awards night

Representatives from the global edtech sector gathered in London this week for the annual EdTechX Awards.

Thrown by IBIS Capital spinout EdTechX Global at the glamorous Hurlingham Club in West London as part of London EdTech Week (June 17-21), the evening highlighted the excellent work edtech companies are doing all over the world.

The Indian-based higher education guidance platform CollegeDekho and the language-learning app Promova were among the 15 award winners.

Awards categories were split into four themes – company maturity, geographic, life stage and impact – recognising companies around the world for innovation, early years education, diversity and inclusion and much more.

“We are excited to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our winners. These organisations have exhibited remarkable talent, dedication, and innovation in their respective fields,” said Benjamin Vedrenne-Cloquet, Partner at IBIS Capital and Co-Founder of EdTechX & IMPACTX2050.
