BridgeBrazil, a leading supplier of Portugese language courses to foreigners in Brazil, has been awarded a valuable accreditation by the government-backed Study in Brazil programme. The mark of approval places it among the upper echelons of providers catering to the international market in Brazil.
“Accreditation means a trusted sign,” Monica Szwarc, BridgeBrazil’s Country Director told the
Rio Times. “It identifies those programmes which offer not only a solid foundation of programme quality, but safety and customer care as well.”
Study in Brazil was developed by the Brazilian Exchange Bureau with the aim of promoting Brazilian education abroad, and garners the support of various Brazilian government ministries and the country's biggest agency association, BELTA.
Accreditation will provide a publicity boost for
BridgeBrazil courses, which include uniquely Brazilian offerings that blend Portuguese language study with Brazilian music, history or economics.
The company also offers preparation for the Brazilian Ministry of Education and Culture’s official Brazilian Portuguese as a Second Language exam – a requirement for any foreign student hoping to enrol in a Brazilian university.
“We really believe we are the best school of Portuguese for foreigners in Brazil,” Szwarc told the Times. “We are honoured to be part of [Study in Brazil] and I feel it is due recognition to the effort of each and everyone at Bridge, [and our] commitment to providing the best service.”
BridgeBrazil is a subsidiary of the international study travel company Bridge, which also runs programmes in the US, Chile and Argentina.
