Invasion Camp Group will retain its name and location in Salford, UK

The UK-based youth travel organisation Invasion Camp Group offers a range of volunteer, camp, and work and travel program across Europe, Africa, North America and Asia, among other experiences.

“Intrax is thrilled to have Invasion Camp Group join our family of programs,” said the company’s president Marcie Schneider.

“The acquisition not only allows Intrax to expand our partner network throughout the UK, it also provides a broader range of opportunities for international and American students.”

“We will be able to accelerate our mission and will help more people than ever explore the world”

While the world is on the verge of travelling again following the Covid-19 pandemic, it is an “opportune moment” for the two companies to partner, they said.

Joining the California-headquartered company – with more than four decades of experience in the sector – marks “the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Invasion Camp Group”, Invasion co-founder Nick Steiert said.

“As part of Intrax, we will be able to accelerate our mission and will help more people than ever explore the world,” Steiert noted.

The deal will position Intrax to be “stronger and more effective” in creating international opportunities for young people, the companies added.

“Intrax remains committed to its mission of connecting people and cultures,” Schneider added.

“We look forward to a strong next chapter of recovery and growth.”

Other Intrax provisions include AuPairCare, AYUSA, Global Internships and Intrax Work Travel. It also launched CampCareUSA in 2019.

Invasion Camp Group will retain its name and location in Salford, Greater Manchester, UK.
