INTO Hofstra University marks INTO’s twelfth partnership in the US and is the result of several months of work by the teams of both partners to develop pathway programs that will support international students’ academic, cultural and English language development.

“Hofstra and INTO have a shared commitment to providing quality education”

Speaking about the partnership, INTO CEO John Latham described Hofstra as a university which “blends rigour, prestige and location to offer students an unparalleled higher education experience”.

The Academic English, International Year One and Graduate Pathway programs that will be available to the first INTO Hofstra intake from Fall 2019 will be delivered by university faculty, and all admissions decisions will be determined by the University.

“Hofstra and INTO have a shared commitment to providing quality education to students in an environment that encourages, nurtures and supports learning,” added  John Sykes, INTO’s co-founder and executive vice president for North America.

Hofstra University president Stuart Rabinowitz said that the partnership will allow the university to establish a “truly global campus” that creates an environment in which students are prepared for a global economy.

“Over the years, Hofstra’s reputation has grown as an international destination, for our academic programs, our faculty and our location near New York City, which allows us to provide unparalleled career and cultural experiences to our students,” he added.
