A partnership between Fleming College and Trebas Institute Ontario will increase the number of students able to access a selection of programs at the new Fleming College Toronto campus, it is hoped.

Programs on offer for Fall 2022 include a diploma in business, as well as three graduate certificates

The collaboration between the privately-owned Trebas Institute Ontario and the public Fleming College Toronto will see international students enrol in four of Fleming’s business programs.

“This exciting partnership offers new options for students to study business programs in the Greater Toronto Area or at our Sutherland Campus in Peterborough,” said Fleming College president Maureen Adamson.

“Our initial offerings provide students with knowledge and experience that is practical, in-demand, and workplace-ready.”

Mohamed Slimani, VP of operations at Trebas also commented on the career opportunities the agreement brings with it.

“On behalf of the staff and student body of Trebas, we are all excited about the partnership,” he said. “The students who graduate from Fleming’s highly regarded programs will bring in-demand skill sets and strong work ethic to Ontario’s labour market.”

CEO of GUS Canada Cyndi McLeod said she was “thrilled to welcome Fleming College Toronto to the GUS Canada ecosystem”.

“GUS Canada and our institutional brands are on a mission to lead the future of education in Canada and the natural synergies between Fleming College and Trebas Institute make this new partnership particularly exciting.

“Education in Canada is growing at an exponential pace”

“Fleming College Toronto will provide an innovated education model and real-world experiences to maximise student success while filling the skills gap in national and international business sector.”

The “very popular, high in-demand” programs on offer for Fall 2022 include a diploma in business, as well as graduate certificates in global business management, project management and supply chain management — global logistics.

“Education in Canada is growing at an exponential pace,” a spokeperson told The PIE. “Fleming College Toronto will not only open doors and many opportunities for students but will also fill the skills gap in national and international business sectors.”

“Simply put, this partnership opens doors and many opportunities for students,” McLeod added.
