The rankings are designed for prospective students looking to advance their education and career goals in the US

Evaluating universities across six major disciplines – business, education, engineering, law, medicine and nursing – the rankings are designed for prospective students looking to advance their education interests and career goals in the US.

“Wharton School demonstrated high employment rates, starting salaries and bonuses for its graduates”

“For the first time, the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School took the number one spot for full-time MBA programs, moving up two spots after demonstrating high employment rates, starting salaries and bonuses for its graduates,” the report stated.

Stanford University also improved its rank to come in at number two.

Meanwhile, Harvard University – the previous number one full-time MBA program for three years running – tied at number three along with University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business and Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Sloan School of Management.

The top seven full-time law school programs remained the same as last year, as once again Yale University was ranked the best in the country, followed by Stanford follows at second while Harvard rounded out the top three.

“Research Harvard, due to its strong research activity, maintained the number one spot among Best Medical Schools: Research,” explained the report.

Following in second was Johns Hopkins University, while University of Pennsylvania’s Perelman School of Medicine moves up three spots to tie with Stanford in third.

In the Best Education Schools, Harvard moved up to the top spot while MIT and Johns Hopkins remain the number one schools in engineering and nursing, respectively.
