Bayswater Education, Canada. Bayswater Education has appointed John Becker as managing director, Canada. John brings over 25 years of experience in education and management, beginning as a teacher, then as a center director, and a founding Board member for Languages Canada. His first school opened in 1999, which was later acquired by Intrax Cultural Exchange, where he stayed on as director for Canada. John branched out into human resources and consulting, which supported post-secondary and secondary schools with their senior staffing and HR needs. In 2019, he joined ELS Language Centres, as managing director, Canada, before the recent acquisition of the Vancouver school by Bayswater Education. “I am honoured to be asked to continue as managing director in Canada, for Bayswater Education, one of the fastest growing and most exciting organisations in international education.” John said. “I’ve been very impressed with the team, their strong social mission, and the opportunities before us.”
