University of Delaware, US. Ravi Ammigan has been named vice provost for global engagement at the University of Delaware (UD). As UD’s senior international officer, Ravi will lead the Center for Global Programs and Services, oversee the UD-International initiative, and guide the university’s internationalisation strategy and global engagement portfolio. He brings over 25 years of international higher education experience and has served in various leadership positions since joining UD in 2013, including the role of associate provost for international programs. Ravi holds a secondary faculty appointment as associate professor in the School of Education, where his main research focuses on the academic, social, and cultural experiences of students in higher education. He is a regular speaker at international education conferences and publishes frequently on the topic of international student affairs. “It’s an incredible honour to be stepping into this role at an institution with such deep history and legacy in international education and exchange,” Ravi said. “I look forward to working with our amazing Blue Hens and valued partners worldwide to further advance UD’s global collective impact.”
