IDP Education, South East Asia. Montse Castells has joined IDP Education as Regional Director – Operations, South East Asia. Prior to joining IDP, Montse held senior management roles for multi-national organisations including Unilever and Pret-a-Manger across Asia, ANZ, Europe and South America. In her new role based in Singapore, Montse will lead the South East Asia team to strengthen IDP’s leadership position across student placement, English language testing (IELTS) and English language teaching. Andrew Barkla, Chief Executive Officer at IDP Education, said both Montse and Joanna will add strength and diversity to IDP’s leadership team. “Joanna and Montse join IDP as we regain momentum and begin to help the wider sector recover from the events of last year. Both Joanna and Montse were standout candidates and we are delighted to have their rich expertise and skillsets to help lead our global teams.”
