Michael Shaw has joined OIDI as its head of digital assessment and product strategy, where he leads the development of innovative learning and assessment products. With more than 20 years of experience in education technology, publishing, and journalism, he has held senior roles including head of product at Infinitas Learning and director of TES resources. Michael specialises in user-centred product design, drawing on deep insights from learners, educators and data to enhance outcomes and strengthen the experience of students and partners worldwide. Upon his appointment, Michael said: “I am excited about leading our user-centric and data-powered research to inform tangible updates to our products and, ultimately, real outcomes for our learners and academic partners.”
