Patagonia Open, Latin America. Macarena Pickett is seeking to bridge the language and cultural opportunities between the Southern Cone and the UK with her new editorial and LSP venture. A significant shareholder of British-based Language Residential Courses Agency, LANACOS, she has over 20 years of experience within the international educational industry. Recently, Macarena oversaw language training programs for a port authority in Chile, and collaborated in international projects for the US film and banking sectors from Patagonia. She has previously acted as Trade Mission Secretary to DTI-UK sponsored trade missions to Peru, Bolivia and Chile and holds a degree in Tourism & Hospitality Management from WLC, London. Macarena is focused on increasing LANACOS’ virtual presence, hence, she seeks to build a stronger nexus with its global partners and redefine business development strategies.
