Eaquals, Ireland. Lou has been appointed as the Executive Director of Eaquals. She will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the association as well as its growth and development. She has been involved in international language education for almost twenty years, amassing experience in teacher training and ELT management including in Ireland, the UK and Spain, where she was Director and DOS at IH Sabadell for almost seven years. Lou serves on the IATEFL Board of Trustees as the Associates Representative for IATEFL, working closely with teaching associations worldwide. She is also the founder and current president of ELT Ireland, which is the association for English language teachers in Ireland.
