Association of Commonwealth Universities, UK. Joanna has become the new Secretary General of the Association of Commonwealth Universities. She has over 18 years’ experience in the higher education sector, and joins the ACU from King’s College London, where she was Vice-Principal (International). In previous positions, Joanna represented the UK higher education sector as Director of the UK Higher Education International Unit, now Universities UK International, and before this, was Head of Higher Education at the British Library. Joanna has also been honoured as a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in recognition of her work promoting British higher education internationally.
