CATS Global Schools, Global. Drew Newport has been appointed to the newly created role of general manager, Asia for CATS Global Schools. He is responsible for student recruitment and business development for all CGS brands in Mainland China, South Korea, Thailand, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Vietnam, Myanmar, Indonesia, Singapore, Philippines, Laos, and Malaysia. Drew brings with him a wealth of experience. He was Regional Director for the Asia Pacific region at Kaplan and, more recently, the Associate Global Sales Director and Managing Director of two large study abroad agencies in Asia. Drew said, “I am thrilled to be joining CGS in Asia, an area of the world I feel at home in and where I can utilise my experience to help support our prospective students, their parents, and our partners to help achieve their goals of studying in the UK and US. I am passionate about establishing greater student mobility and look forward to working with the exceptionally experienced CGS team.”
