BorderPass, Canada. Dan Weber has joined BorderPass as head of public affairs, bringing deep expertise in international education, innovation, and public policy. Most recently, Dan served as senior advisor, public affairs at the Canadian Bureau for International Education (CBIE), where he helped shape strategic engagement and policy initiatives across the sector. A University of Waterloo alumnus, he has held leadership roles at ApplyBoard, in government, and on boards, advancing education and global mobility. At BorderPass, Dan will lead public affairs strategy and engagement to strengthen policy and support growth in immigration-tech and legal-tech solutions. Commenting on the move, Dan said: “I’ve spent much of my career working at the intersection of education, technology, policy, and mobility—BorderPass is a natural next step. I look forward to the opportunity to help bring new innovation to the immigration journey.”
