Arden University, UK. Dr Anthony Manning has been appointed associate dean (international) at Arden University, where he will play a key leadership role in advancing the academic dimensions of the university’s international strategy. In this position, Anthony will help shape and implement approaches to transnational education, academic partnerships and internationalised student experience that strengthen Arden’s reputation and enhance access to high-quality learning worldwide. Anthony brings extensive experience in international education. As a principal fellow of AdvanceHE and a national teaching fellow, he has led initiatives to internationalise learning and teaching, embed global perspectives across curricula, and foster inclusive approaches to higher education. Prior to joining Arden, Anthony held senior roles at the University of Kent and the University of Reading. Having lived and worked in five countries, he also serves as a trustee of the British Accreditation Council and as an expert committee member for the EAIE, NCUK, and the British Council. “I’m excited to join Arden at such a dynamic time,” said Anthony. “The university’s commitment to accessible, high-quality digital and international education aligns perfectly with my passion for creating inclusive, globally connected learning experiences that empower students and educators alike.”
