Tufts University, US. Anna Garson recently started a new position as the director of the International Center at Tufts University. In this role, she will oversee the operation and management of the Tufts International Center in Medford/Somerville and Boston MA, supporting Tufts’ over 2500 students, scholars, and employees and overseeing immigration-related policy and compliance for the institution. Anna has worked in inbound and outbound international education roles for 14 years and has worked more specifically in the field of international student and scholar services and immigration for the past 10. Prior to joining Tufts University, Anna was the director of the Center for International Students & Scholars at Bentley University, specialising in complex issues relating to F-1 work authorisation and USCIS applications and local and national advocacy. “I am thrilled to begin this new role and to support the international community at such a dynamic and interdisciplinary institution,” said Anna.
