Both platforms will be providing scholarships and discounts on the fees for the Test of English for International Communication and the Graduate Record Examination.

The move will help in reducing the financial burden for students planning to take these international tests as tier two, tier three and smaller cities contribute to the increasing number of study abroad applicants from India.

Moreover, Internshala and ETS will be conducting a wide range of online and offline activities, including study abroad fairs, masterclasses, roadshows, and more.

By providing scholarships and increasing access to test centres, we aim to make the process of taking TOEFL and GRE tests more accessible and affordable.

Students will also be able to attend sessions on the importance of studying abroad, and take TOEFL and GRE for admission to higher education institutions overseas.

The study abroad aspirants will also be introduced to masterclasses by trainers, specifically coached by ETS, on the significant features of TOEFL and GRE tests.

“This partnership with ETS India marks a significant step in our mission to support Indian students in their study abroad journeys. By providing scholarships and increasing access to test centres, we aim to make the process of taking TOEFL and GRE tests more accessible and affordable. Together, we are committed to empowering students with the necessary tools and knowledge to succeed in their academic and professional pursuits abroad,” said Shadab Alam, Head of Study Abroad, Internshala.

Internshala and ETS India will also hold study abroad fairs both online and offline across India to guide students about university options, finances, and more.

While the former is set to expand opportunities for English language assessment at institutions in India, ETS India already offers scholarships and competitions for Indian students, with a total grant of 50 lakh (£47,359), in their journey to pursue undergraduate, postgraduate courses, and business or law school programs.
